Summer Camp
in Carroll Gardens
Our camps are hosted at Little Brooklyn Playschool in Carroll Gardens.
All camps run from 9:00- 3:00.
After Camp available until 5:30 all summer!
This summer we are hosting camp for Rising 1st- 4th Graders in Carroll Gardens.
Camp runs from 9:00- 3:00 with After Camp available until 5:30
A day of summer camp consists of a balance of free play, art activities, sprinkler time, and lots of sewing! Note: Each week has a series of planned projects. If we finish the week's planned projects early we add an extra project in.
No Prior Sewing Experience Needed.

In this week kids will make a cross body bag with adjustable strap and coin purse. To design their cross body bag kids will have their choice of a variety of materials and strap options. Kids will use a rivet press to install hardware on their bag

In this week kids will make a metallic vinyl wristlet, wallet, and sew books. Kids will design their wallet using a variety of materials. Kids will use the rivet press to install hardware and a strap to their wristlet.

This is a fashion sewing week! In this week kids will make skirts, scrunchies, and headbands for themselves

It’s American Girl Doll Week! Kids will spend the week making doll clothes and accessories! Note: the patterns for the week are specifically for the American Girl Doll size and proportions but similarly sized and proportioned dolls should work fine.
Kids are encouraged to bring their dolls for doll play all week!!

In this week kids will make a Boxy Pouch, a drawstring backpack, and snap pouches. To make their boxy pouch kids will have their choice of contrasting materials to make a very fun and useful pouch. Kids will learn to install plastic snaps for their snap pouches.

In this final week of summer kids will make some supplies to get ready for school. Kids will make pencil sized pouches , snack pouches, and mini clip on pouches for their backpack.
