Join us for a workshop to learn a new skill, make something fun, or just to have a good time ..
Ages 18+ Workshops are held at 118 9th St, Studio 102 Brooklyn
In this 2 hour workshop you will make a lined zipper pouch (probably two). The workshop includes a basic intro to a sewing machine, including how to sew a straight seam, turn corners, and backstitch. You will also learn how to install a zipper.
All materials for the workshop are included. For this workshop you will have your choice of fabrics and zipper. All materials are cut and prepped in advance so you can get right to the good stuff of sewing.
This workshop is perfect for those new to sewing or those who haven't sewn in a while but all are welcome.

In this 3-3.5 hour workshop you will make a boxy patchwork tote bag. This workshop is beginner friendly but also well suited to anyone with prior sewing experience. The workshop will include a basic intro to a sewing machine, including how to thread the machine, sew a straight seam, turn corners, and backstitch. You will also learn how to construct a fully lined bag, use fusible fleece as a stabilizer, box corners, and install straps.
All materials for the workshop are included. All materials are cut and prepped in advance so you can get right to the good stuff of sewing.

In this 2 hour workshop you will make a Jelly Vinyl Pouch (probably two). Wondering what jelly vinyl is? Think back to when you were a kid- jelly shoes, jelly bracelets- yes it’s like that! The workshop will include a basic intro to a sewing machine, including how to thread the machine, sew a straight seam, turn corners, and backstitch. You will learn how to install a zipper. You will also learn how to work with this luscious material! Jelly Vinyl is a wonderful versatile material to sew with - it makes amazing waterproof bags and pouches.
All materials for the workshop are included. For this workshop you will have your choice of jelly vinyl and zippers. All materials are cut and prepped in advance so you can get right to the good stuff of sewing.

All materials for the workshop are included. For this workshop you will have your choice of floral and whimsical prints or solid canvas. All materials are cut and prepped in advance so you can get right to the good stuff of sewing.
