For 3rd - 6th Grade
In this 12-class session, kids will sew garments, accessories, and/or bags, while exploring a range of materials and techniques. Beginners will learn sewing machine basics like threading, straight seams, turning corners, and backstitching. More experienced students will be introduced to advanced techniques to level up their skills.
Each child will be assigned their own sewing station with a computerized Brother machine. All materials are provided. Kids will leave the session with a batch of one-of-a-kind projects and the skills and confidence to sew at home.
Location: 117 9th St, Studio 102
Schedule: Mondays September 14- December 14 (no class 9/ 21 and 10/12))
Makeups: Week of December 21 (kids can also come in to makeup classes on alternate days when there is availability)
Note: No refunds for missed classes. A signed liability waiver is required before the first session.
